How Solixync Works
Solixync uses a streamlined workflow to transform your product photos into platform-ready images. Here's what happens from upload to download.
The Processing Pipeline
Step 1: Upload Your Images
Start by uploading one or more product photos. You can:
- Drag and drop files directly into the upload area
- Click to browse and select files from your computer
- Upload in bulk with multiple images at once (5 on free tier, up to 500 on paid plans)
Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, and WebP.
Step 2: Select Target Platforms
Choose which e-commerce platforms you want to optimize for:
- Amazon
- Etsy
- Shopify
- eBay
Each platform has specific presets that define the optimal dimensions, aspect ratio, and background requirements.
Step 3: Adjust (Optional)
Before processing, you can preview and adjust how your product will appear:
- Auto mode: Let the AI automatically position your product optimally
- Manual mode: Use visual controls to reposition, scale, or rotate
Visual guides show safe zones and fill requirements for each platform, so you can see exactly how the final image will look.
Step 4: Process
Once you're happy with the adjustments, start processing. Our AI pipeline:
- Analyzes the image to detect the product
- Removes the background using machine learning
- Positions the product according to platform requirements
- Generates exports at the correct dimensions for each selected platform
Processing happens in real-time, and you'll see progress updates as each image completes.
Step 5: Download
When processing finishes, download your optimized images:
- Individual downloads: Get specific images or platform versions
- Bulk download: Download everything as a ZIP file
- Re-download anytime: Access your processed images from your batch history
Behind the Scenes
Background Removal
Solixync uses advanced AI models trained on millions of product images. The model identifies product boundaries with high accuracy, even for:
- Complex edges (jewelry, clothing, plants)
- Transparent or reflective surfaces (glass, metal)
- Multiple products in one image
- Products with shadows
Platform Presets
Each platform preset contains:

| Minimum fill | How much of the frame the product should occupy |
| Background | Color or transparency requirements |

When you select a platform, Solixync automatically applies these settings.
Batch Processing
Batches group related images together for efficient processing:
- All images in a batch share the same platform selections
- Processing happens in parallel for speed
- You can monitor progress for the entire batch
- Results are organized and downloadable together
Processing Modes
Auto Mode
The AI analyzes your product and automatically:
- Centers the product in the frame
- Scales to meet minimum fill requirements
- Maintains proper margins for each platform
This works well for most product photos and requires no manual intervention.
Manual Mode
For more control, switch to manual mode to:
- Reposition the product within the frame
- Scale larger or smaller (0.5x to 3x)
- Rotate to adjust the product angle (-180° to 180°)
- Brightness adjustment (-100 to +100)
- Contrast adjustment (-100 to +100)
Visual overlays show platform-specific guides so you can see exactly what the final result will look like.
Quality Assurance
After processing, Solixync shows compliance indicators for each platform:
- Green checkmark: Image meets all platform requirements
- Warning: Image may not meet optimal requirements (e.g., product fill percentage)
This helps you quickly identify any images that need attention before listing.
