Download & Export

After processing, Solixync provides multiple ways to download your optimized images. This guide covers all download options and how your files are organized.

Download Options

Individual Image Download

Download a single image for a specific platform:

1. Open your batch detail view
2. Click on an image thumbnail
3. Select the platform version you want
4. Click the download button

This is useful when you need just one specific image.

Per-Platform Download

Download all images optimized for a single platform:

1. In batch detail view, find the platform section
2. Click "Download All for [Platform]"
3. Receive a ZIP file with all images for that platform

Example: Download all 20 images formatted for Amazon at once.

Full Batch Download

Download everything in one ZIP file:

1. Click "Download All" or "Download Batch"
2. Wait for the ZIP to be prepared
3. Download starts automatically

This includes all images for all selected platforms.

When downloading a full batch, files are organized by platform:

The manifest.json file contains batch metadata including creation date, platform list, and per-image export details (dimensions, file size, compliance status).

File Naming

Individual downloads include the platform name in the filename:

In batch ZIP downloads, files keep their original names and are organized by platform folder.

Download URL Expiration

Download links are temporary for security:

• Individual image downloads: Valid for 1 hour
• Batch ZIP downloads: Valid for 2 hours

If a link expires, simply request a new download from the batch detail page.

Output Formats

Image Format

Processed images are exported as:

• JPEG - Most platforms (Amazon, Etsy, eBay)
• PNG - When transparency is needed
• Platform default - Based on preset configuration

Image Quality

• High quality compression for optimal file size
• Maintains visual quality while meeting platform size limits
• Platform-specific optimization applied

Each platform export has specific dimensions:

Re-downloading Images

From Batch History

Access past batches anytime:

1. Go to your batch history
2. Find the batch you need
3. Download individual images or the full batch

Retention Limits

How long images remain available:

All batches are automatically deleted 7 days after processing.

Tip: Download important batches promptly and keep local backups.

Download Tips

Large Batches

For batches with many images:

• ZIP preparation may take a moment
• Download starts automatically when ready
• Keep the browser tab open during preparation
• Large ZIPs may take time to download depending on connection

Organizing Downloads

Best practices for managing downloaded files:

1. Create folders by project - "Spring 2024 Collection"
2. Keep originals - Store source images separately
3. Use platform subfolders - Mirror the ZIP structure
4. Add dates - "2024-01-15-amazon-listings"

Multiple Platforms

When selling on multiple marketplaces:

1. Download the full batch ZIP
2. Upload each platform folder to its respective marketplace
3. Files are already sized correctly for each platform

Troubleshooting Downloads

Download Not Starting?

• Pop-up blocker - Allow pop-ups from Solixync
• Browser issue - Try Chrome, Firefox, or Edge
• Ad blocker - Temporarily disable if blocking downloads

ZIP Won't Open?

• Incomplete download - Re-download the file
• Use built-in tools - Windows Explorer or macOS Finder
• Try 7-Zip - Free tool for handling ZIP files

Missing Platform Versions?

• Verify that platform was selected when creating the batch
• Check if specific images failed for that platform
• Review batch details for per-image status

Files Look Wrong?

• Wrong dimensions - Verify you downloaded the correct platform version
• Quality issues - Check source image quality
• Colors different - Monitor calibration or compression artifacts

Upload to Marketplaces

After downloading, upload to your stores:

Amazon

1. Go to Seller Central > Inventory > Add a Product
2. Upload images from the amazon/ folder
3. Main image must meet 85% fill requirement ✓

Etsy

1. Go to Shop Manager > Listings
2. Edit or create listing
3. Upload images from the etsy/ folder

Shopify

1. Go to Admin > Products
2. Edit product
3. Upload images from the shopify/ folder

eBay

1. Go to Seller Hub > Listings
2. Edit or create listing
3. Upload images from the ebay/ folder

Pinterest

1. Create a new Pin
2. Upload images from the pinterest/ folder
3. Vertical format optimized for Pinterest feeds ✓
